Cat White, the owner of RA Home Builders, is the current president of the NRV Home Builders Association.

History:

RA has its beginnings in 2006 when Cat White and his wife Erin began looking for small real estate projects, such as sprucing up distressed properties for resale, for extra income.

In 2007 Cat entered into a working relationship with his brother, also a class A contractor, to build spec homes. By August 2007 Cat had left his old career behind and created RA Real Estate LLC specializing in new home construction, real estate development, and rental property management.

In 2008 Cat created RA Home Builders to be a division of RA Real Estate LLC to better advertise the new home construction of RA Real Estate LLC. RA Home Builders has also begun to offer home remodel and repair services.

About Cat White:

Cat White has been an entrepreneur and businessman in the New River Valley for over 20 years. Cat opened his first business, a small book store located inside a hobby shop in downtown Pulaski VA, while still a junior at Pulaski County High School. Cat is also a former student of New River Community College and Radford University.

Cat is extremely proud to enter the field of construction which has been a family tradition for many years. In addition to his brother being a class A contractor, Cat's grandfather, uncle, and 2 brothers in law, and others are also in the business with careers in everything from civil engineering to masonry.

Cat got his start in construction in December of 2000 when he joined Red Lobster's operations development team. For over two years Cat traveled across the country opening new, and remodeling old, Red Lobster restaurants. While with Red Lobster Cat was involved with the opening of 10 new restaurants, and over 40 remodels from Salt Lake City to New York.

Cat currently lives in Pembroke VA. with his wife of over 10 years, Erin, and their two children Ruby and Aidan who have graciously lent their initials to form RA.
